BRIDE 2020: CHANGING THE DRESS IS A TREND!

For the bride-to-be or just for the curious who can’t resist the bridal collections here are some of unmissable trends for next year. Accomplices the coolest weddings of the year it is impossible not to be influenced by the growing mania of the clothes change! Paola Turani, Haidi Klum and Charlotte Casiraghi have created illustrious precedents which influence the brides to choose 2 or 3 looks for their most important day.

One thing is certain 2 dresses is among the main trends of the season: princely dresses with a wide structure and in lace on one side and those with a modern cut with geometric and sliding details. For the most indecisives, the change of clothes is going to be the best option: you can switch from one style to another without giving up anything!

One ceremony, only one dress to be rememebred. We have always been told that a marriage works like this. In fact, women were dreaming about this special day and their perfect dress. Well, now all this seems outdated. You can have multiple ceremonies to celebrate your wedding as well as dream of as many dresses as you want.

Charlotte Casiraghi has divided her wedding into three parts: civil marriage, reception and church wedding favoring the dresses with very different styles. For the civil ceremony, Charlotte has chosen a long-sleeved bon-ton look with large bows in the front designed by Anthony Vaccarello for Saint Laurent.

For the reception her dress has completely changed, cool and contemporary geometric style with a silver stake to complete the look. The pure white dress designed by Chanel Haute Couture was completed with Cartier neckline that belonged to her grandmother Grace Kelly.

To close the religious wedding she had another dress (by Giambattista Valli) this time in a country chic style with lace and ruffles inspired by the location. The choice of the dress is also in this case a tribute, but not to grandmother Grace but to her mother Carolina who on June 29, 1978 had her first marriage. Same date and similar dress to be remembered.

Heidi Klum, has also chosen few dresses.

Heidi had already said yes and last February she had an intimate ceremony between her close friends, about which little is known. For this reason, she had organized another one in a VIP style in Capri on the “Christina O ‘yacht” that had already hosted nothing less than the marriage of Grace Kelly and Ranieri III, Princess of Monaco and the one between Aristotle Onassis and Jacqueline Kennedy. Heidi has chosen three dresses for this occasion. The first dress with the maxi cut and bare shoulders was made by the creative director of Valentino Pierpaolo Piccioli specially for her. The faded lace dress was embellished with hundreds of three-dimensional flowers made with sequins, crystals and shiny decorations.

For the reception Heidi has changed her dress. A simple one designed by Galvan, in silk and with American neckline. Also in this case (as we have already seen Casiraghi) there was a total change of style of the dress. For the toast, at the end of the dinner she changed again into more informal dress: a slit lace slip embellished with a jewel belt.

Italian influencer Paola Turani had also three changes of the look who placed her trust in Atelier Emè and asked to create three romantic looks exclusively for her. One style, different executions. Three weddings and one conclusion: the change of the wedding dress is a huge trend! Moreover, romantic dresses in lace and wide skirts (such as Charlotte’s third dress and Paola Turani’s dresses) are always in trend, and this season even more than ever. They are doing a great competition with those without decorations, no matter if structured or slipped, the important thing is to have original geometric cuts, amazing fabrics and clean lines (see that of Charlotte Casiraghi and the second of Heidi Klum).
